Highly recommended - I have used this little kit now about three times. It’s a great little starter kit. It’s pretty fun. We loos yesterday in a creek for about 30 or 40 minutes. I took the minor moss out for this run, but I should’ve left it in but we did get five or six little gold flakes up here in Colorado. Still trying to figure out exactly how to pan it’s challenging but it’s a great starter kit. I do recommend it. Review: Great kit - Great kit, had everything you needed to start your gold hunting journey. ## Features - 844 - 12" POCKET SLUICE BOX WITH MINERS MOSS: A rubber riffle mat and miners moss trap heavy gold in a sluice small enough to carry anywhere. Use it to sample-test a gravel bar before hauling in big gear, clean up concentrates at home, or show kids how a sluice works. - PATENTED SPIRAL RIFFLE GOLD PANS (US 12,582,996): Deep-walled 9" and 11" pans built like a classic prospector's pan, not a shallow dish. Aggressive riffles knock out light material fast, and the spiral riffles hold the fine flakes that flat-bottom pans wash away during finish panning. - BLACK SAND MAGNET, SNUFFER BOTTLE & MAGNIFIER TWEEZERS: The separator magnet pulls black sand from your concentrates, the snuffer bottle vacuums gold flakes straight off the pan, and stainless magnifier tweezers let you spot and pick out flakes too small to grab by hand. Three glass gold vials hold the day's take. - DESIGNED BY KEYESVILLE, CALIFORNIA PROSPECTORS: Sluice Fox kits are designed by prospectors who learned to pan in historic Keyesville, in California's Kern River gold country, and assembled in our own warehouses near the Sierra and Appalachian mountains. A gift that gets a family outdoors, from a brand that has been in the creek, not just a catalog. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0812CSQKJ | | Best Sellers Rank | #42,578 in Patio, Lawn & Garden ( See Top 100 in Patio, Lawn & Garden ) #22 in Metal Detector Parts & Accessories | | Brand Name | Sluice Fox | | Color | green | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 4.6 out of 5 stars (1,287) | | Date First Available | November 5, 2019 | | Included Components | Part Number: 25227 | | Item Dimensions LxWxH | 13 x 9 x 9 inches | | Item Package Dimensions L x W x H | 14.21 x 13.15 x 5.39 inches | | Item Weight | 1.9 pounds | | Manufacturer | Sluice Fox | | Material | Rubber, Aluminum | | Model Name | 25227 | | Model Year | 2015 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Package Weight | 1.44 kg | | Part Number | 25227 | | Size | Good | | Suggested Users | mens | | Warranty Description | No Warranty | ## Images ![Gold Panning Kit with 12" Pocket Sluice Box & Gold Pans - Green - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81lKGIfW-OL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color, Size** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: Qwhat size are the pans** A: Per description 2 Small Gold Pans with Dual riffles (one 8" and one 10") **Q: Dose this product come with the sluce fox sticker?** A: I did not have one with mine ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great little starter kit. Highly recommended *by D***S on July 5, 2026* I have used this little kit now about three times. It’s a great little starter kit. It’s pretty fun. Magnet left something to be desired (sand and gravel pushing up into the cylinder after first use) but all in all I'm pretty happy with my purchase. ## Frequently Bought Together - Sluice Fox All-in-One Gold Panning Kit with Portable Sluice – Featuring Miners Moss, Gold Trap Mat, Classifier, and Tote Backpack for Streamlined Gold Prospecting - Goldn Gold Paydirt Eureka Panning Pay Dirt Bag – Gold Prospecting Concentrate - 20pc Complete Gold Panning & Prospecting Kit with 50" Folding Sluice Box, Portable Aluminum Alloy Mining Equipment for Adults, Includes Crevice Picks, Magnifier, Magnet, Vials & Accessories --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.hr/products/171295265-gold-panning-kit-with-12-pocket-sluice-box-and-gold](https://www.desertcart.hr/products/171295265-gold-panning-kit-with-12-pocket-sluice-box-and-gold) --- *Product available on Desertcart Croatia* *Store origin: HR* *Last updated: 2026-10-06*
