It's the 3M double side that has the red colored tape backing. I used a razor blade to custom cut the tape to the entire bottom of the spoiler B4 install. Once it's "ON".....it's FN on there. I let the 3M tape cure/bake in the sun for the next two days. With the temp of the trunk deck cool to the touch, I put a small, thin bead of black colored silicone between the top of the trunk deck top & the spoiler. I didn't paint my spoiler. I liked it, as is, and it looks kick ass on my car. Zero buyers remorse. I'm happy I purchased this product. I ordered this for my 2017 Honda Accord 4door EX-L because I saw a post where Cuztom Tuning said it should fit. Well funny thing is that IT DOES NOT fit. It's actually not even molded right for the trunk. Another thing is that the spoiler had no tape or hardware whatsoever in the box. I was forced to buy my own tape and hardware and figure out how to install it on my car. Can't believe this product.
