Review: Excellent support and durable design - Daughter had developed a weak right ankle from a sprain years ago. Plays competitive b-ball 9 months a year and needed some support for that ankle. First attempt. I bought less expensive brace of similar style that fell apart in 1 season. So spent a bit more money and bought this McDavid at the beginning of a new season. It was recommended that she use the lace up style and cross over straps and these appeared to fit what she needed. This brace works very well, fits snug and gives support. The fabric in the boot is durable, which was the flaw in the previous brace. We are in the middle of summer ball and it is still in great shape. Would highly recommend.

**Q: I wear size 7 shoe. Should I get the extra small?**

Your best bet is to go by the size chart. If you are women’s or men’s size 7 the extra small is likely the size you will require. If you are on the high end of the scale in Men’s shoe size, you may want to size up as it will be easier to fit and tighten as needed. If you get a size that is already too tight it will leave you little ability to further tighten it as needed and achieve a proper fit. **Q: Will it fit inside a Steel Toe work boot?**
A: It fits in a shoe.  If your boot is already tight, perhaps not; but if it is a lace up boot or if it is a slip on boot with a little wiggle room - no problem.

I have worn these when needed for about 10 years. They can take some time to put on (and off), but the stability after putting it on is so worth it. One downside is you can't wear it with every shoe. However, I love you can adjust the laces and straps to your liking. I have tried a couple different ones but this one is the one I like the best. It is lightweight and sturdy making it easy to bring around with me.
