The four foot vertical sisal pole has a sixteen inch hammock attached at the base so cats can leisurely stretch and claw the sisal. At the top of the unit, there is an escape hatch cats can use to jump down the multiple levels of canvas hammocks and easily reach the ground. An interactive piece such as the Sky Track is a great way to stimulate feline minds and enrich their environment. The use of sisal poles can help prevent furniture scratches, while also giving cats a great way to exercise. After play time is over, the cats can lounge on one of the many hammocks this piece features.Catastrophic Creations Sky Track is made from solid pine, canvas, PVC and sisal rope. Our products are handcrafted in the USA. This piece comes assembled, but requires mounting on a wall. It is mounted among four wall studs, spaced 16″ apart. All of the brackets come attached for easy installation. Dimensions: Total Width: 54″ Total Height: 54″ Depth: 11″Our furniture also comes with all necessary screws and drywall anchors to install into studs. If your studs are spaced differently or you do not want to use studs, you can also mount the shelving up using 1/8” x 2” Toggle Bolts to sturdily mount our shelving into drywall. These Toggle Bolts would need to be separately purchased. *Please note: This can be a difficult piece to mount. We were looking to upgrade from the typical (ugly) cat condos when we moved and our so happy we found Catastrophic Creations! It took awhile for our cats to start using it after settling in from moving, but now they use it every day. It supports a lot of weight - our white cat is 18 lbs and our black and white is 8 lbs and they both fir on the top hammock together. The scratch post is great too - we got a second one to keep by the couch in the living room. The materials look fantastic and the pieces feel very sturdy.
