This cannot be adjusted?** A: Insert a piece of wood cut to size to narrow the width for smaller hinges **Q: What's the issue with UK doors? Is it the depth of hinge and width of hinge?** A: the spacing for the hinge is not to standard UK hinge size, and as such, routing the hole as is would leave a larger hole than is required. i did not know this when I bought it, so I used an approx 10mm strip of timber to act as a reducer when routing my hinges. this worked well **Q: What size is the shank on the router bit?** A: Hiya, sorry but I didnt use the one with the jig as I had a set of router bits that I used The Jig was "ok" but thats it, used it for 6 doors and threw it away **Q: can you use this ryobi hinge kit on thr door frame aswel as the door** A: Hi. It's for the door only. Door frames have to be done the old way with a chisel. This a good but expensive piece of kit and only makes sense if you already own a trim router and have a good number of doors to hang. I found that the Door latch installation was a complete waste of time. The router bit was a nice touch too the housing are all made from plastic so be careful when routing out. I would have given this 5 stars but I used this to route 3 inch hinges and found whilst the cut was beautiful it was too deep for uk hinges so had to make a small fence so as to not go so deep.
