This worked well and had good absorbency! My hair is also wavy so this really helped with pulling a lot of the water out on both days I wanted to wear it naturally, and on days when I wanted to straighten it (saved me some dry time). My only complaints are 1) the first time I washed it the button came off one of the towels. It seems like that shouldn't have happened after ONE wash. 2) because it is so large, sometimes it starts to slide over to the side of my head, especially now that my hair is cut to about shoulder length.Overall i'd recommend. it's a much better towel than one I paid much more for, and you get 2! My 6 & 7 year old daughters, one with very long, curly hair, and one with short straight hair, also love to use these and they're easy for them. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Astonishingly effective *by R***E on August 4, 2019* I bought these a while back when I first got braids, so it took me a while to try 'em out. I have super thick, curly, long hair that can be pretty difficult to get under control when it's washed, but I think this towel did a MUCH better job than my usual standard towel. First, the shape/design of it makes it a very easy feat to fully encase all of my hair and stay on my head. I decided to test the absorbency and didn't even try to towel dry it at all before wrapping this towel around it, and I have to say I'm impressed. Not only did not a single drop of water escape my hair while wrapped in this towel, NONE dripped when I took the towel off either. I was so surprised that my hair did not drip at all once I got out of the shower. This may seriously be a first.
