Ya quite bit perlite like ?** A: It's very light, just like perlite but size is bigger than perlite. **Q: Does the pumice stone have expiry date? i saw the expiry date printed on the packet.** A: Pumice stones are normally used to remove callus(dead cells) from feet. They normally degrade with in 5 to 6 weeks of daily use. Here we are using for gardening. You will see the water cloudy during wash otherwise my plants are healthy and roots get good support in water. If you are mixing with potting soil it do degrade gradually. The expiry date indicates that it seems. Anyway my plants are healthy. Happy gardening. **Q: Whats the available particle size?** A: The ones I received were approx 1/2 inch in size. **Q: What is the size in mm? Maximum and minimum** A: It's > 5mm.
