Going to get some nice lamps etc from it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Waterlogged PETG - Filament Dryer Required *by A***X on 30 March 2025* This budget-friendly PETG filament comes well-packaged in an eco-friendly cardboard spool with neat winding to prevent tangles, vacuum packed and inside a cardboard box. However, it arrives extremely damp, causing severe stringing issues if used straight out of the box. After proper drying (6 hours at 60°C in an eSUN Filament Dryer with silica gel), it performs admirably. Despite the initial moisture problem, the filament offers good heat resistance, making it suitable for higher-temperature applications like printer chamber components. Whilst this is not a substitute for an advanced material, such as ABS, this is a good middle-ground for prints that need to be more robust than PLA. The filament is very durable and resistant to UV, making it a perfect solution for outdoor prints or functional parts which need to deform slightly rather than snap. This is a decent PETG filament with a reasonable glass transition temperature that performs well after thorough drying. The extreme initial moisture content is disappointing but somewhat expected at this price point.
