Frequency Response 38Hz-23KHz ± 3dB SENSITIVITY: 95.5dB @ 2.83V / 1m Polk Audio CS10 Center Frequency Response 53Hz-25kHz SENSITIVITY 91 dB The Klipsch will be a little louder then the Polk with a little wider frequency response. Your Yamaha receiver can adjust the center channels out put to blend in the center a little more so you can hear it. Also you want to look at the RMS watts. Polk is 125watts RMS. Klipsch is only 100watts RMS. Yamaha RX-V375 AV is 100watts per channel, 70watts RMS x 2 channel. So the out come, you should be fine. your mids and highs will be better with the Klipsch towers. You will have a little more lows from the Polk, but that could make the vocals from the center channel sound more natural. Also your receiver can adjust if you use the microphone to self adjust instead of doing it by ear. It will be fine.. Should sound good and I think you would be happy.. **Q: In my 5.1 set up all the speakers are 6 ohms, if I replace my center speaker with this speaker which is 8 ohms will the sound quality be compromised?** A: Every answer here is wrong. Home stereo amplifiers are typically designed to work with 8 ohm speakers. Dropping to 6 ohms shouldn't be a problem assuming your equipment is of decent quality. Dropping to four should only be done if you have very robust equipment that is rated to safely handle a 4 ohm load. The problem is that using something as low as 4 ohms will fry the output transformers on your amplifier if you play it loud. Using higher ohms (the example above is 16)would tyoically never be a problem although home speakers are not made at 16 ohms. Most are 8, some are 6. But to the original question, unless your equipment is home theater in a box type of junk, it will be perfectly fine driving 6 ohms. Regarding it sounding different - of course it will sound different but that has little to nothing to do with ohms. All speakers have different eq responses, different efficiency ratings, etc. Unless you have timbre marched speakers they will always sound somewhat different.
