Review: PERFECT! - After setting a nice table, I hate the look of brightly colored plastic tubs of soft margarine or butter on the table. The majority of butter dishes are designed for one or two sticks on a dish with a dome shaped cover. I wanted just the opposite, a base that I could transfer soft margarine into with a flat lid. Found some but they were glass or ceramic, heavy and breakable and most with a wooden cover that would get greasy and messy from the contents and/or did not have a secure seal. FINALLY found the perfect piece! This can be used either way, sticks on bottom with dome cover, or fill the dome and use the base as the cover. It’s unbreakable, eco-friendly bamboo, super attractive, molded so both pieces fit securely together, holds a full 16 oz container of soft margarine, great selection of colors, easy to clean and looks great on my table! Picture shows comparison…which would you rather have on your table? I’m going to order more so I always have back up and maybe a couple of other colors too. I love supporting small businesses. Thanks for creating this piece!

**Q: Will the Kerrygold butter fit in this without difficulty? And what are the measurements of the inside?**
A: That’s the only butter I use and it fits well in it. The only thing that I have done is used the bottom as the top and top as the bottom so I can open it up easier

A: Mine has not absorbed the smell of butter

**Q: What are the internal dimensions?**
A: Not sure of dimensions but 2 sticks of butter fit in side by side & have a little room at each end. Hope this helps.

We bought the gray butter dish so it would match everything. It looks nice but it does get smudges on it. After all the cover sits in the kitchen until our meals are finished anyway!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good size for Kerrygold

When I read that this is a bamboo product, I wasn’t sure what to expect. I am pleased with the size, it will fit a block of Kerrygold whether I cut it or not. The color is nice, it fits in well with the rest of my decor. It looks and feels like plastic that has a matte finish which is pretty cool. However, I have noticed areas on the lid where the butterfat from my fingers has made it a bit shiny and it does not wash off. I have only washed it by hand using Dawn and I didn’t imagine the butter “stain” would still be there when I dried it. I hesitated on putting it in the dishwasher but I will try that next. I use very warm/hot water to hand wash items, so it wouldn’t surprise me if it doesn’t come off. Hopefully you can see the shiny spots in the photo.
