They do get dusty if the floor or carpet is dusty they attract every piece of dust. However it does show in pictures. The assembly can be challenging. Take your time and be gentle as the paper isn't the toughest and uou van easily rip the edges. If you chose to out balloons inside for decoration I'll suggest only using small balloons no bigger than 5-7 inches. The letters are attached by glue dots.
