There's a hose that attaches to it and I thought if I took the hose off and just applied the attachment straight to the vacuum as pictured that it would be a little more powerful. That was even worse because the canister kept coming apart so everything I had vacuumed up spilled out again. There's no "lock into position" switch so the canister constantly comes off. It defeats the purpose of vacuuming if it's just going to spill out in a new location. ### ⭐⭐ Weak *by M***H on October 5, 2013* I know it's only 12 volt, but it's very weak. Probably better to use the vacuum available at gas stations for your messes. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Works but it is dangerous to your health! *by E***. on June 24, 2013* It works OK, but when I read the little manual it says that it is subject to Proposition 65 Warning: "This product contains chemicals known in the State of California to cause cancer and/or birth defects or other reproductive harm" They ask you to wash your hands after handling. What I found more suspicious was that I was filling out the information to return it they said that because I was a great customer they will refund the money but that I did not need to return the item. So, that makes me think if they don't want it returned because they are just trying to get rid off this hazardous items or because I am really a good customer.
