But it's supple and smooth, a pleathery texture that it doesn't require a vegan to appreciate.This is not for work, but for personal use. I use it to put documents in if I have an appointment and need to take something with me, with no fear of it's being lost, getting wet, etc. It's well made, the leather's like soft and it's nice looking. I have also used it when in bed and wanting to write something. .
