We expected these to be something durable that could function on a child's bike. Instead,they are like the fairie lights that you buy for weddings or decorating. The lights are actually brighter than expected. I was as delicate as possible but after threading them and getting the string of lights caught up in a tangle, they are actually more durable than expected. I might have stepped on it one piece and thought forsure they were not going to work but they still worked. I found the installation easier with the bike laying on the floor on its side. The lights have 2 modes. Slow flashing and steady on while riding.
