I like the portability of this cup *by S***7 on Reviewed in the United States on October 29, 2017* I am not sure why other reviewers were having trouble: the white band around the middle needs to be securely pushed up onto the silicone cup BEFORE filling the cup. If you push it up tight enough, it stays. The cup works without it (doesn't get hot on outside) but it lends structural stability to the cup, especially when picking it up. To pop out the bottom, push it out from the INSIDE and don't try to "pull" the bottom out. As for the lid: I have not any leaking problems, but I can imagine that some of the lids might not have a tight enough fit. Mine is fine.
