Took about 15 minutes to install in the truck with no power tools. If you have power tools then it would be a 5-minute job. I bought it for my 2020 F-150 and this thing is great. Putting it together was a little tedious but took about 45 minutes to actually assemble. Now that I have it in the truck I don't think I'll ever have a truck that doesn't have one of these. The thing is very sturdy and well made. Doesn't look like those OTHER stands you see on Amazon. It does take a little space away from your passenger, but nothing too much. High quality and holds up my Panasonic toughbook with ease. Only problem I have was some of the nuts for the screw given to you would not work and was not threading correctly. If you have a tiny bit of common sense and a dash of mechanical ability this is really easy to install.The unit is rather amazing! Took me about 30 mins to install. The instructions are a bit vague but it also has pictures so you don't even need to know how to read.Very sturdy and well built. Does tend to wobble a little bit over rougher roads but easy enough to stabilize with your hand.Also tends to hover over the cup holders blocking them from use but I've found that you can adjust it in a way that you can get around it. Easy enough to push out of the way when not in use.I most definitely would recommend that you get this if it is needed.
