Then, make sure you calibrate the battery properly (very important - again, there's nothing supplied with this battery to tell you that).When new, the battery showed one battery cycle, a manufacture date in September 2020 (battery bought late December), and a full capacity significantly above the original Apple battery. After calibrating the battery and then putting it through a few cycles, the capacity is still well above the original battery, as you can see from the CoconutBattery screen shot I've attached to this review. So, overall, I'm very happy - I've got a healthy, high-capacity battery for a good price.If you want to really extend the service life of this battery, I suggest using a battery-charge-limiter app (there are a few available, try googling "macos godly-devotion charge limiter app" for the one I use*) to limit the maximum charge to 80%.* This one is useful as the minimum supported OS is macOS 10.12 Sierra, whilst others require a newer OS. The physical condition and feel of the batteries is good! Doesn't leave you with the impression it's a cheap battery.
