A regular backpack is big and ugly, a regular tote bag is uncomfortable for long periods of time. This little bag is almost like a fanny pack, but not as hideous. I store my wallet in here, sunglasses, maybe a bottle of water, and other miscellaneous little things. It's a nice way to have my pockets and hands free without carrying heavy weight.The leather itself is supple and seems high quality. It is made in China, but so are most luxury leather bags. The only part that I don't love is the extremely shiny metal used for the zippers. It's a little too flashy for my taste.
