Review: Easy to Use, Easier to Clean Than the Air Fryer Basket - We love our Instant Vortex Air Fryer, but it's a pain in the neck to clean the grill tray and the cumbersome basket, especially the grease and crumbs that fall through. Since we got this silicone basket we're using the air fryer even more often. PROS: It's perfect for tater tots, carrot fries, meatballs, boiled eggs(!), breaded stuff like zucchini fries and butterfly shrimp ... and way so much easier to clean! It's dishwasher friendly, but it only takes seconds to run warm water and use a gentle detergent with a cloth scrub. Between batches we just wipe the grease off with a dishcloth or paper towel, and shake off any crumbs. The thickness has the right stiffness to pour the grease out into a jar. CONS: The only catch is it's round and the air fryer basket is square with rounded corners. So we could cook more potato chips, taquitos, and chicken wings without it. WARNING: It can get very hot We highly recommend it.

The WAVELU silicone insert has good, deep ridges that allow complete cooking, and walls tall enough to contain flying grease droplets. We can cook frozen french fries or frozen fish filets (flip large items once midway through the cooking time), and they cook nice and crisp but without getting grease all over the grid and bucket. I scrub the WAVELU in very hot water, with a medium scrub brush and detergent/baking soda. Since we're normally cooking at 370 degrees F or lower, no food particles will hard-cook onto the silicone surface, and it cleans very fast. So glad I ordered this, since we can use our air fryer more often and still enjoy easy cleanup. Truly use it at least two or three times a week.

A: I have a Corsori 5 qt air fryer and iI put the silicone basket on top of the crisper tray. I love it - so much easier to clean expecially doing chicken wiings that leaves a little fat in the basket.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ For all my Square Shaped Air Fryer Folks

I ordered this for my NuWave 6qt Square shaped Air Fryer. This is a round insert, so it doesn’t really fit the square shape unless you turn it inside out. It does fit, but is not flush at the bottom so I would imagine you can cook with it as long as the food is not too heavy so as to cave it down because it will slope to one side or the other. When I turned it inside out it fit nicely, and actually rested on the bottom almost like a bowl shape, but with an extra wide flat base. It was also nice to see they give you a little cleaning brush which was not expected. The thickness is nice because it’s firm, yet pliable. As with any silicone based product, this is easy to clean and beats cleaning the inside/bottom of the fryer. This should also prolong the life of the appliance and its parts. This is the XXL size which is 8.86” and would probably be perfect if your fryer is 9” round. If this company decides to make this in a square shape, I will definitely buy again. Only giving this 4 stars because it is not square. If it was square I’m sure it would’ve got 5 stars.
