Product Description What is Baldo Rice? Baldo rice is known for its plump and flavoursome quality across the Mediterranean., it is a plump, milled, short-grain rice grown in Turkey and Italy. The Turkish variety is particularly starchy and can absorb lots of moisture, which makes it very creamy and tender when cooked. It also keeps its shape well, so it’s a great choice for risotto, paella, and Turkish-style pulaos. plump, short-grain milled lesser white belly grains keeps its shape when cooked one of the essentials in Turkish cuisine. creamy and tender Cook Baldo Rice with Chickpeas 1 cup Aksoy Baldo Rice ½ cup chick peas 1 tbsp butter 2 cups hot water 1 tsp salt 1 tsp black pepper In a heated pot add butter, add rice and fry for 4 minutes. Add chickpeas(cooked before), salt, and black pepper and mix them well. Add regular boiled water to cover the mix. Cover the pot and reduce the heat. When rice absorbs all water, turn the heat off and mix it with a spoon and leave it for 10 minutes. Aksoy Baldo Rice In a bowl, add the rice, cover with one inch of water…Leave for 1 hour then drain excess water.
