I use the more detailed brushes to draw some butterflies and they work like a charm. The flat brushes also work pretty decently to do some 3-D acrylic work. They can be great practice brushed before moving onto more expensive ones. Just make sure that before you use any brushes to "break them out." Run your fingers back and forth through the brushes gently to remove any dust. Take some warm water, remove excess water with a towel, and then shape to air dry a little. You may have to remove hair splitters, which is normal if it's a few strands.
