I cut off the original two-strap L iron base and sanded down the mounting location. I then flapper wheeled the paint off the adjoining locations on this item and was able to 1:1 weld this in place of the old. A shot of gloss black Rustolium and you cant tell it wasn't there originally. Its low enough profile it wont interfere with the bunk slide-out with a dual tank cover, and it seems to be pretty sturdy. I'll update as time goes, but I dont see having any issue. Would recommend.
