Once I learned how to use it, it’s the easiest curling iron I have ever had. The curls are very consistent and look smooth. This hair curler feels very heavy and well made, I hope to use it for a long time. It has no cord and is TSA friendly, I have already taken it to a plane. I was mostly afraid of getting my hair twisted and tangled inside but it has a system, which releases the hair, if there is too much pressure. There is very low risk of getting burned, since the iron is hidden in the chamber. I think it is a great tool for young girls that are just starting doing their hair. Great idea for a first curling iron. On a down side, it is not very intuitive. I definitely had to watch a tutorial before I used it properly. Also, It left my hair looking flat, I definitely needed to fluff it up afterwards but I love the effect. Review: Fast Amazing curls - Once you get the hang of it makes curls easy to do. I have short hair and still managed to curl my hair. I love it. The only thing I need to figure out is to avoid it from turning off because it takes a few minutes to turn on or I have to connect it to charge to have it turn back on. My curls come out amazing and now it alot more easier ### ⭐ Defective *by A***E on June 26, 2020* I only gave 1 start because I had to in order to write the review. The item was delivered timely, and the box from amazon was fine and contained another item I ordered. The curling iron box looked as though someone tried to open it by tearing the sides apart. Its ripped. It looks like its been used. The item did not come with any hair clips as noted. I charge the iron for 7 hours, and as in the directions, once the battery symbol appears without flashing, it is "charged" and can be used. The item would not power on. I tried to charge it through my computer then for another 5 hours thinking maybe the adapter was bad, and the same issue happened. Also, when it plugs in to charge, the LCD screen is supposed to light up and flash a battery symbol, I only had a battery symbol, and it beeped and stopped flashing after 5 minutes of initially plugging it in, but I still left it on charge for 7 hours. I would not recommend this product. I would suggest to spend the extra $40 and buy the Conair one.
