Two for us and the others as gifts. *by R***S on December 14, 2024* If I only had one kitchen knife this might be it. I have many others but this one is a nice size that can do most things pretty darn well. Gave one to a friend, he thought that was an odd gift, put it up and didn't try it for almost a year, finally he needed a sharp knife for some ribs and remembered the one I gave him, he said it was a eureka moment when he realized why I had given it to him. He also realized that he had never actually owned a sharp knife until then, at 62 years old. He loves it now. It holds an edge very well. The handle is superb, doesn't get slippery, big enough for my hands and small enough for our daughters. Blade is more flexible than the 8" version (which I also have and highly recommend and gift) but that works well for many things as well.
