A: I dont think they do...

**Q: Can you remove the glass and make slight alterations? Or is it glued shut or something**
A: You can remove the glass but the rose pedals are glued to where they are.

**Q: How fragile is this? Could it survive an international flight in a suitcase?**
A: Yes,  the box it comes in will protect it.

**Q: Is this is real rose?  Why does one reviewer say it’s plastic?**
A: I believe it to be real and it’s beautiful!

I bought this for my mom and she loved it! The rose arrived in perfect condition and was packaged nicely inside a gift box. The rose itself is very beautiful and in full bloom. It also has a wonderful deep blue color. I bought this rose in May and at the time I'm writing this review it is July. The rose still looks exactly as it was when it arrived. Although it may seem a bit pricey at first, I truly believe this rose is worth the money.(My mom discovered that you can remove the glass dome, so I took it off to get a good picture of the rose. I'm not sure if the dome is removable on all roses, but we normally keep it on to protect the rose.)
