Review: Not bad for a interim light while waiting for a replacement grow tent light! - Is this a pretty awesome lights for what they were. I ended up picking up some plants on a whim and needed a temporary set up before I got my grow tent and high-quality lights. The base has an adjustable height which makes it pretty easy to get your right level, and the flexible arms are easily manipulatable in multiple dimensions I was even able to twist the strip of lights to get it to point a specific direction once I have the arms in place. The biggest downside I saw was that if erupted the lights will not turn back on their own, so you cannot use an external timer and have to use the built-in timer. It’s a bit confusing at first with the function of the 4, 8, and 12 hour options but once you get The idea that those are hours of darkness it makes a little more sense. The base seems nice and sturdy, and as long as you have the lower legs fully extended it didn’t feel like it would tip over even would you had all four lights bent over far to one side. Best but not last it’s not one of the blue purple lights but a true 5K white spectrum of a grow light my plants were very happy until I got them in a tent purpose and I keep it around just in case emergencies
Review: I keep a lemon tree alive all winter long inside my house with this light! The tree is 5 feet tall. - We have a lemon tree that we have to move inside during the winter. It’s in a (approximately) 10 gallon bucket. The tree requires some sunlight and this portable grow light works very well. We can move the tree anywhere in the house and bring the sunlight with it! The set of lights is on a portable stand that is very sturdy it also has a variable time timer built into the power cord. Great grow light at a reasonable price!

**Q: Why the led lamp is called 168led 100w plant lights?how much is the actual power?**
A: It is called 100W lamp, which means that its lighting effect and brightness can be compared with 100W HPS lamp. Due to the use of LED energy-saving lamps, the energy saving efficiency can reach  85%-90%, so the actual power consumption is roughly 12-15W. Additional,the led lights equipped with up to 168 LEDs, which is currently the most on the market compared to other 4-head plant lights

**Q: can i plug this on a extension cord? or it has to be plugged directly on a wall socket?**
A: SURE if you use a USB to AC adaptor like you charge cell phones with and has a standard USB port or outlet. So one side of the adaptor has a classic 2 or 3 prong AC plug the other side has at least one USB ports. I recommend going with 18Watt or 24Watt quality adaptor even if you plug directly into the wall AC outlet. Reason is many of the cheaper adaptors are danagerous and can melt down. Check negative reviews while searching for adaptors 18W or larger and if anyone at all has photos or complaints about melting pass and find ones that do not have that fire hazard. Also you could use most classic charge stations that sometimes has mulitple 2-8 USB ports. So it's kind of open here. I myself intend to use one of my 3 large lithium battery's that can be charged via Solar or AC or 12V to keep power to this year round for garden plants. I'm experimenting and if it works well I will add a second one. But was searching specific for a USB plant light so I could utilize my Rocksolar batteries and my Goal Zero 1400 all three. Otherwise in winter they are just left on trickle charge on our AC and never put to use. Seems like it would be neat if I could use them not just for camping and summer time outside lights and fans or power failures but also to contribute to the house and house plants. For this price with it's multiple umbrella like light and 80Watt draw it's perfect for my trial. Anyway an extension plug with a regular AC outlet end and the adaptor to acept the USB plug that's on this item should be fine. And the draw is so much less than direct AC grow lights of 80 to a couple of hundred watts. Not all of these of course have USB plugs.

A: There are 80 LED lights, 5500K.

**Q: What is the difference between the white lights, and the purple one? I have two of the white, but they nearly doubled in price, the purple r the same.**
A: I am not sure of the difference, but this light has three different settings. Blue, Red, Purple and I use it on the winter when there is less sun. I don’t own a white one so I’m not sure. However this one keeps my plants healthy throughout the colder months due to being able to change the lighting and settings.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Worked Well for a While

Easy to set up, timer works great, and my plants seem pretty happy with it! Update: so after owning this for a while I'm having to replace it. I couldn't say when I first purchased this light, but now it won't stay on. Something must be wrong with the cable and a wire has to be held at *just* the right angle. I'll turn it on, walk away, then come back a minute later to see it's off despite setting it for 12 hours. Or I'll try to turn it on and it turns on then off, or off the second I put the cord down. I haven't been rough on it or moving it around a lot, my dogs aren't allowed in the room it's in and my cat doesn't go near it, so I guess the old saying "you get what you pay for" bit me on this one. Because of the low price and how well the light does work (when it's working) I'm buying another one, but I'm bummed that I have to replace it. I think at the most I've only owned this light for a year before having this problem. If it happens again with my new one I won't be buying again. I do not want to have to replace it every year due to weak/faulty cords. That said, the light remains fantastic for my plants. I have my sun-loving plants under this light instead of under my sky lights because they do better. I've moved it since my first photo to be over my fish tank (now some plants are on top of the fish tank that weren't doing well in other parts of my house due to low sunlight) and my aquatic plants love it. Bonus: my fish tank isn't growing algae from having to keep a window open for natural sunlight like it was before. As far as quality of light goes this is a great choice and your plants will love the spectrum.
