**Q: Is this knife tsa compliant?**
A: Not sure what you mean by TSA Compliant. In your checked baggage, sure, but so is any knife. In your carry-on or in your person? Nope, not at all. TSA doesn't care how long or small a knife is, it's not going on the plane. I'm pretty sure even drawings of knives are frowned upon.

I.75" long if measuring from the blade post center-line in frame, effective length is 1.5" 
Overall length when open is a tick or two over 4"
The belt clip makes a great money clip and the knife has enough heft you always know where your money is
One drop of oil on the blade post and one drop at the blade locking notch and the knife can EASILY be opened one handed with one flick of the index finger for last chance emergency backup situations

**Q: Some reviews say this knife is hard to open. Does it stay that way? I’m hoping it does since this is a useful feature to have if keeping it in a pocke**
A: It is very hard to open.  I cannot open it without using some small utensil along with my fingers.  There is nowhere to grab the blade to open it except with fingernails.  Even then, it's almost impossible to do.  I wouldn't recommend it.

A: Cause new york has silly laws

Love these little box cutter knives; have purchased several over the years. They are nice and small, a little bigger than two thumb drives side-by-side when folded up. They hold a good edge and are sharp. The straight edge of the blade makes for easier handling. It locks well, but then you can unlock it pretty easy with the standard squeeze-to-the-side-with-your-thumb unlock. Great, quality little knife.
