If you are not ready to use the ladybugs immediately, store them in the bottom of the fridge. Yes, you read that correctly. The bottom of the fridge. Not in the crisper, just on the bottom shelf. They'll be fine. When you are ready to use them, just take them outside at dusk, open the bag, and gently (gently!) set the ladybugs into the plants where you want them to go. They'll go...and then some. For the next several weeks I observed the little ladybugs throughout the garden...and amazing, no aphids. The aphids were gone, and this made me very happy. The ladybugs will move on, once they've finished off the aphids. This is what they do. I refrigerated them for 4 days until just before dusk. Every single one was alive and I was very happy with my order. Last year I ordered from a different seller and it took a month and a half to receive them, so I was thrilled with the quick delivery of these.
