You have to unglue the proprietary top of the Coravin argon (soaking overnight in acetone will dissolve the glue). Once you have that black plastic top, you can modify PEK cartridges to work with the Coravin. A tiny bit of superglue will keep the top in place. A bit of fabric at the bottom of the container helps, too. **Q: Is this compatible with the Coravin System ?** A: Not consistently. I would stick with the coravin cartridges. **Q: Will these cartridges also work in the Coravin system ?** A: No. Very frustrating. You have to remove the black plastic cap from a genuine Coravin capsule by soaking an empty one in acetone (inexpensive pint available at any hardware store) for several hours or overnight then using a plyers remove the cap to use on this substitute however it works extremely well. Save your last 2 Coravin capsules when empty so you have a cap to use & a spare. No leaks or problems for me. Must mention that I love my Coravin & have bought 2 as gifts however their proprietary gas capsules are too expensive. These cartridges do not have the seal that the Coravin system needs in order to function.
