Mostly because it always looks the same. This is the only yarn I use these days because it never produces hair balls and looks like I just made them. The pair in the picture I made 3 months ago and they still look good. I've been buying this yarn and storing it away because it seems all yarn manufacturers discontinue their yarn. And I want to make sure I can continue to make socks. Unfortunately one skein only makes one pair of socks, but if you make a contracting heel or cuff, you'll have plenty for two pairs of socks.
