The materials these boots are made out of seem a little lighter and less quality than the other boots I have used over the past few decades, but at the price point I wasn't expecting top of the line materials. I'll see how well they hold up over regular use, and update my review if there are issues with the quality that affects the life of the boot. I generally wear out a pair of the high end boots about every year, so these are lasting just as well, which has impressed me, especially for the price point. They fit well they are comfortable and they are strong for my tasks. Fairly water proof and the zipper NEVER BROKE! My last pair of boots were Men's 8" Thorogood Side Zipper Work Boots and they lasted me about 3 years when I bought these in February I thought they would last at least a year unfortunately these boots failed right at 7 months from purchase. That kind of hurt my feelings. But I will say for the money they are pretty darn good I just wish there was something they could do to make them last longer. I will be purchasing these again but I wish I could insure them so when they fail in under 1 year they can be replaced.
