But I am glad that I made the purchase. The outer jacket of the wire is more than thick enough for most tight, pinching areas. The power cable is long enough to run the entire length of my car. The wire is truly an 8 gauge and you do not get a small conductor and a quarter-inch of insulation. The only thing I wish is that the ground could be a bit longer than three feet. But I guess this is the standard. Overall, the kit is close to perfect, especially given the cost price.
