The fabric is medium-weight and super soft inside. The pockets are nicely constructed. Both sides of the pocket are the same material as the pants so they are pretty sturdy. They are also deep, which helps your keys from falling out. The pants are true to the size chart, but note that the large is cut a little longer than most brands. That's not a bad thing, since sweatpants tend to shrink in length over repeated washes.I am really impressed by how comfortable these pants are. They are warm, but not hot, and they offer such unrestricted movement and are so soft inside, that you don't even feel like you have anything on (except that you are warm. I wear them to the gym to lift weights and they are perfect for this. Even doing deep squats, they don't impede my movement or bind up.I also own some Champion Eco open bottom sweatpants. Those have a thicker, more rugged material, and are warmer, but they feel stiff in comparison. Also, the pockets are chintzy in the Champions and the legs have shrunk to be almost too short. I needed a soft pair of white bottoms for a snowman costume I was putting together for her. I liked that they were a very pure white with no logos or other colors showing. I was a little worried about the reviews that complained that they were unfinished at the bottom, but, since I couldn't find anything else that I thought would work well, I bought them anyway. Well, they arrived on time and fit perfectly. We used them for the costume, and they were perfect. Now, my daughter wears them all the time. They are cozy and soft, and no cuffs at the bottom makes for perfect lounge wear.
