Review: Couldn't be happier - We had the "normal" door knocker and wanted to replace it with something unique & fun... but it also had to be quality and fit the style. Initially was looking for something black - but they all seemed to be the same... and kind of boring. Saw this bee one... was initially hesitant due to the price - but, I have to say I love it! It was worth the money - mainly because if it's quality and look. We bought the larger one. Looking at others online, this was the nicest design. Some other ones you can't even make out what it is... looks like a blob. We are very happy with this doorknocker and it was easy to install (which is a plus).
Review: Beautiful knocker, heavy duty - Heavy duty and easy to mount, solid brass so it's a very healthy weight and knocks very well. Looks amazing, really the pictures hardly do it justice. It's bigger than it looks in the pictures, perfect size.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: What’s the size difference between premium and standard? Any pictures?**
A: The Premium Size is 5" x 4.5" x 2", and the Standard Size is 3.5" x 3.2" x 1.5". We are working to get more pictures on the site to clarify.

**Q: how is this installed?  Is it with screws or bolts that go through to the other side?  Im concerned about how it looks from the inside**
A: Not sure if screws or bolts were used as my husband installed it....but nothing shows on the inside..his custom door is as beautiful as ever.

**Q: Has anyone purchased the standard size? Is it to small for an average size door?**
A: I have the premium.  Even the premium is smaller than the knocker I replaced.  But ultimately I think the premium size is perfect.  In my humble opinion I think the standard would be too small.

**Q: I removed an old knocker now have 2 holes about 4” apart.  Will this work?**
A: The holes on our Standard Bee Knocker are 1.5" apart. It is very difficult to match mounting holes from previous knockers. We recommend using top existing hole and filling in the unused hole with wood filler and paint if needed.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Can one be in love with a brass bumblebee?

I had my eye on this door knocker for 7 months after I moved into my new house. It was just expensive enough to feel too indulgent, so I put the purchase off. That is, until I got a very kind bonus from my boss on a project. I used a portion of it to buy this little guy, and I have to say — I wish I hadn't waited! So if you are like me and it feels too indulgent, just buy it. You won't regret it. It is ART. If functions too, of course. But I bought this because I wanted a statement at my door. It is exactly that. It's not so large that its silly. It's a healthy weight and the refined design makes it a sophisticated piece. I get compliments and "where did you get this" from nearly everyone that steps through my front door. Photos attached, colors are different (on the door) between pictures because some pictures have more daylight than others, but the bee itself is pretty accurate across all.
