Had to order pencils to have a whole set to run test Review: Okay, not great quality - I liked the product at first but found some dents and dings in the wheels. Not good for a test instrument, this did cause some inconsistent results but I had to use it due to the time pressure I was under. ## Features - 【Main Function】The hardness of coating film is a necessary index for quality identification in coating manufacturing and coating application (coating table) industry. Pencil scratch test for film hardness is a widely used test method in the world since 1980s. - 【Wide Application】It is applicable to film hardness test. The instrument is mechanical, three points contact the tested surface (two points are wheels and one point is pencil core). It always ensures that the tested film forms an included angle of 45 degrees, and pushes the instrument to move horizontally with force, so as to complete the test process and determine the resistance of the film to deformation. - 【Wide Application】This instrument is designed and manufactured in accordance with the manual operation method in Article 2 and 3 of the national standard "pencil test method for film hardness" GB6379-86. The instrument can be used in the laboratory, can also be applied to the construction site, and can identify the hardness of the film in any direction. - 【Pencils are not included in this lot】 Due to customs control this lot does not include pencils, please purchase your own. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0822J6555 | | Additional Features | Lightweight | | Age Range (Description) | Adult | | Age Range Description | Adult | | Best Sellers Rank | #282,913 in Industrial & Scientific ( See Top 100 in Industrial & Scientific ) #67 in Hardness Testing Equipment | | Body Shape | Round | | Brand | GLTL | | Brand Name | GLTL | | Color | Primary color | | Customer Reviews | 4.1 out of 5 stars 7 Reviews | | Drill Point | Broad | | Grip Type | Soft | | Hardness | 6B | | Item Diameter | 2 millimeters | | Item Weight | 1 kg | | Line Size | 2 millimeters | | Manufacturer | GLTL | | Material | Stainless Steel | | Material Type | Stainless Steel | | Point Type | Broad | | Recommended Uses For Product | Coating and film hardness testing in various industries, such as coating manufacturing and application; suitable for laboratory and construction site use; applicable for identifying film hardness in different directions. | | UPC | 781621871629 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Writing Instrument Form | Graphite Pencil | ## Product Details - **Age Range (Description):** Adult - **Brand:** GLTL - **Color:** Primary color - **Material:** Stainless Steel - **Writing Instrument Form:** Graphite Pencil ## Images ![Pencil Hardness Tester ASTM D3363 with 13 Pcs Pencils - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71pzRuLDA5L.jpg) ![Pencil Hardness Tester ASTM D3363 with 13 Pcs Pencils - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71nxxLdlVyL.jpg) ![Pencil Hardness Tester ASTM D3363 with 13 Pcs Pencils - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61Bgae3EQ-L.jpg) ![Pencil Hardness Tester ASTM D3363 with 13 Pcs Pencils - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/515bWwn94dL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐ Doesnt have all the various pencils *by M***M on December 28, 2025* Does not have all pencils.
