Press a button for takeoff sounds and blinking lights. Turn a figure to open the doors, open the solar panels, activate the stairs or rotate the crane (which also attaches to the second floor of the tower to load cargo into the shuttle). And that’s just the beginning of the adventures Imaginext Space World, where there’s a new adventure at every turn as you decide what happens next! Includes tower with elevator, shuttle with crane, moon vehicle, two figures, two helmets, console and 3 AA batteries. Review: Sturdy and Fun - Positives: Excellent activity features, cool sound effects, nice group of figures and accessories, large toy, educational Negatives: No volume control for sounds, elevator gets stuck My 3 year old loves space shuttles. We watch shuttle launch replays on the NASA Youtube channel and he practically has all the parts of the space shuttle memorized. We looked for various space shuttle based toys and this was by far the best option. The space shuttle toy comes with two spacemen, an alien creature, a communication dish, and a blaster. The spacemen's feet fit snugly into various turnbased platforms on both the space shuttle and the launch pad. Turning the spacemen then performs various actions including turning the platform leading to the cockpit, rotating a space claw which attaches to the shuttle, expanding shuttle wings, and opening the cargo hold which is pretty large. There is an elevator for the three levels but I've yet to find a toy that doesn't have an elevator or lift that doesn't get stuck or is rough moving up and down. This is no exception but it does work well enough to not detract for the fun. All the accessories can fit into the cargo hold. Many of the activities activate sound effects which are very well done. There is a button on the space shuttle which also produces sound effects such as preflight sounds or a beeping countdown. Lifting the space shuttle off the launch pad initiates the shuttle launch sound effects which lead into deep space sound effects. It's all really well done and quite immersive. I wish that there was a second volume option. There is only an on and off switch however and the sounds are slightly loud. The space shuttle and launch pad are both very sturdy and the size is satisfying. It's large enough for my son to get lost in his imagination but compact enough to not take up too much space. Really cool toy! Review: A perfectly executed and well made toy for imagination and long lasting space adventures. - an absolutely well-developed and constructed space shuttle with all the 'real deal' bells and whistles. This is an outstanding toy for imaginative play. It is perfectly age appropriate. My son is an Astro Stellar Physist and has twin sons in Wales that are well advanced and interested in all things that their dad can tell and teach them about space. This Space Shuttle was on the boys top list to give to Santa. As the gram, I have the thrill and pleasure of being the surpise giver. Fisher Price has gone big and beyond, I believe, in all their Imaginext products. It might cost a bit more for the product, but the end result is long-lasting and outstanding quality. My sons received and played with Fisher Price toys in their childhood and now that fun will continue on for my grandsons. The twins have the Inaginext Castle and enjoy it time and time again.. I am thrilled with my puchase, extremely pleased when it arrived so I could have a chance to make certain it was exactly right. it was, indeed. And more !!! An outstanding choice/gift that will last and last. ## Features - Imaginext Space Shuttle and Tower includes a tower with elevator, shuttle with crane, 2 figures, 2 helmets and console - The shuttle has lights and sounds and a cockpit that opens and closes - Press a button for takeoff sounds and blinking lights - Use the boom arm to fly the shuttle in "space" or remove it and attach it to the tower - To see more information click the "Watch it in Action" link below the main product images ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B001W1R0KE | | Age Range Description | Kid | | Brand Name | Imaginext | | Color | Orange | | Customer Reviews | 4.4 out of 5 stars 232 Reviews | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00027084738926 | | Included Components | Shutter | | Item Dimensions | 13 x 10 x 5 inches | | Item Weight | 3000 g | | Manufacturer | Fisher-Price | | Manufacturer Maximum Age (MONTHS) | 96 | | Manufacturer Minimum Age (MONTHS) | 36 | | Manufacturer Part Number | P4237 | | Material Type | Plastic | | Model Number | P4237 | | Number of Pieces | 9 | | Set Name | Imaginext Space | | Size | Medium | | Theme | Space | | Toy Figure Type | Action Figure | | UPC | 885589336890 027084738926 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | character | Variety (Male Space Characters) | ## Images ![Fisher-Price Imaginext Space Shuttle and Tower - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81CoeLvGG5L.jpg) ![Fisher-Price Imaginext Space Shuttle and Tower - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81wIDgmEtqL.jpg) ![Fisher-Price Imaginext Space Shuttle and Tower - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51Oa0dE2WXL.jpg) ![Fisher-Price Imaginext Space Shuttle and Tower - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/711sChm45iL.jpg) ![Fisher-Price Imaginext Space Shuttle and Tower - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71M42rWEBgL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: We found our rocket ship at a consignment sale today for $5.00! But it doesn't have any action figures. Does anyone know which ones to buy?** A: It comes with 2 austronauts and 1 green alien mask. Great find by the way! I love consingment sales too! **Q: what are the dimensions?** A: the platform is 16 inches tall and 14inches across on the bottom. The rocket is 15 inches tall and at the widest part on the bottom its 12 inches. Its a good sized toy and both my boys love it. **Q: How do you pop out the embedded wings on the side?** A: one of the buttons releases them ,our wing were "stuck" amf had to have a little pull to free them up **Q: Are you kidding with this price? $300 for a few pieces of plastic?** A: As a toy lover, this is from 2008. Toys like this only appreciate with time- as supply and demand changes. Being brand new from 2008 is the rationale for price. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sturdy and Fun *by M***R on May 19, 2011* Positives: Excellent activity features, cool sound effects, nice group of figures and accessories, large toy, educational Negatives: No volume control for sounds, elevator gets stuck My 3 year old loves space shuttles. It makes cool sounds and lights up. has compartments he can open and put things into. It comes with a couple of astronauts with removable helmets. He can remove the ship and play with it by itself or leave it docked and use all of the other components that come with the space station. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because certain things about the space station are a little flimsy, but that's just me nit-picking. The ship itself is very solid, and overall for the money it's a great toy with lot of thing to keep the little one interested. I recommend it for anyone who's kid is into rocket ships! --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.hr/products/17890072-fisher-price-imaginext-space-shuttle-and-tower](https://www.desertcart.hr/products/17890072-fisher-price-imaginext-space-shuttle-and-tower) --- *Product available on Desertcart Croatia* *Store origin: HR* *Last updated: 2026-10-21*
