Review: You will throw out all other steak knives - I was introduced to Victorinox from a friend who simply gifted me a tomato knife from a set gifted to her. Since then I have replaced almost all my knives with the brand and got rid of plenty of other brands that started strong but ended up letting me down. Like squishing my tomatoes when cutting them. They have all proven to be durable, quality, knives that stay sharp. This set cuts through steaks like hot butter. Don’t get me wrong I use them for so much more. They are highly used as they’re functional and versatile for our kitchen. They are light weight and a perfect size. I’ve had no issues with washing them in the dishwasher. For the money, they are worth every bit of it and then some in my opinion. I’m even gifting to friends, spreading the word so others don’t miss out on quality knives like I have for so many years.

**Q: Made in USA?**
A: No...made in Switzerland.  This & Mercer (German) are the only knives I use.  These particular are more for everyday use so you're not going to get the quality you would in a more expensive set.  They are very sharp so will stand up well.  I even put them in the dishwasher.  The bottom line...I'd definitely buy them again.  Hope this helped.

A: Yes they are dishwasher safe. I wash mine by hand because I use them often but my children dishwash them and there’s no sign of degradation.

I’ve been using this Victorinox Swiss Classic Steak Knife Set for over a year now, and I honestly couldn’t be happier! These knives are incredibly functional — they cut through steak like butter, but I also use them for bread, veggies, even salad prep. Total multitaskers! What amazes me most is that after a whole year of regular use, I’ve never had to sharpen them — not even once! The serrated edges stay sharp and effective, and the quality is just outstanding.
