Swiftwicks don't do that! We're road bikers and pretty much wear these socks exclusively just for that reason. The hold up well and wash beautifully. We've yet to wear holes in any of them, and we wear them a lot. We prefer this version, Swiftwick Two, because they show more than the Ones do. On a hot day with lots of miles to ride, this is our favorite. I'm outside on my feet going door to door about 4 hours a day. I needed socks that were durable, sweat wicking and if I needed to take my shoes off in a client's house - odor fighting. These were the ones I bought and they are excellent. I have notoriously sweaty feet and been using these everyday for over a week and no issues at all. In fact I could wear them a couple days in a row, and have, and still no odor. The weight is perfect. I don't feel them on my feet. They don't bind my feet.
