Not being very handy, I did have some (easily overcome) challenges in the assembly but I did it myself so that means it's easy for the average person to assemble. I love the size, the ease with which it slides in and out of the CD slot, the location of it in my car, the inconspicuousness of it. I really can't say enough good things about it. I only gave it 4 stars because the screws keep falling out and having to be screwed back on.
