Review: Bipar Spectra grow lights are high quality and work very well - These grow lights are very high-end high quality you can tell when you pull it out of the package they're extremely bright I highly recommend you use a meter app on your phone to set them at the right brightness or you'll burn your plants they're that bright but they work very well consistently reliably and they make your plants grow thick and healthy as opposed to thin and lanky if you have it set right there's no reason your plant should get leggy at all I feel that they are worth the price for these units and they've only improved them on each new model I have four of these and use them strictly for seed starting on a rolling rack system so I love that you can adjust the brightness there's a dial on the side of it to adjust the level of brightness because I can't raise and lower the picture itself so this allows me to reduce the intensity on the young plant so they don't get burned and as the plant grows up closer you can turn it down it comes with a jack that you can link them together to operate on a controller to each one and daisy chain them together

I wanted good quality led panels for use on a wire rack system for seed starting. I landed on these because they were the only-well reviewed panel I could find which came in the necessary dimensions. I purchased the largest size (11" x 39.4") because it would fit between the upright legs of my wire rack and extend slightly beyond the length of each 3 foot shelf. I purchsed 3. After seed starting I will use these for a planned indoor greenhouse cabinet build that will house my anthurium collection. The build quality of these is excellent and the mechanical output adjustment works well. I started some Jerusalem Artichoke and Apios tubers early this season. I had planned to store them until spring but it became obvious that they were not going to survive until then if I didn't get them planted (They were shriveling and many had become soft with areas of decay). They've been planted in nursery pots about 2 weeks now and the largest plants are already about 6 inches tall. They're going to be blooming by the time they can be planted outdoors at this rate! I've just started my first early seedlings (snapdragons) and will update how well they work for that purpose at a later time. They do get warm, but not so hot that they burn if touched. 3 panels in my 9' x 12' mudroom keep the space warm enough that I won't need heat mats. If you're looking for quality led panels, these appear to function well and are a good value for the price.

**Q: Does the dimmer have a linear affect on the light's ppfd values? for example, its top value of 1006 at 100% is simply 754 at 75% and 503 at 50%?**
A: I don't worry so much about par values your leaps on your plants will tell you everything you want to know. Don't make things too complex

A: Dear customer, P1000 used 3500k, 6500k, 660nm and IR 730nm diodes, and we are going to updated to Samsung LEDs in new version. The new version will be available on July or August. **Q: Will the p2500 get to hot in a 5 foot tall tent it’s a 2x4x5 foot tent would it light burn my plants?**
A: this light definitely gets hot. I have it in a 2X4X5 tent and had to build a shroud over the driver that attaches directly to the exhaust fan. that completely solved the heat problem and was fairly easy to do.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A well made LED grow light

The housing of this light is mostly metal, which helps keep the electronics cool. The light is VERY bright, but can easily be adjusted to the recommended light output, for which the included instructions provide. The adjustable hanging cords are well made. One thing that is not included is a timer switch. Such switches are inexpensive so that is not a big issue, but you probably will want to have one.
