Review: A nice looking, clean-lined and directable floor lamp - I had gotten one of these lamps a few months ago and I really liked how it looked and how its simple and compact size does not interfere with the overall look in my living room. The lamp shade is a perfect size and has an effective shape and I like how you can adjust the lamp shade and the neck of the lamp to where you want the light to be directed. I decided to get a second lamp as it will balance out the lighting needs in my room without a having a large lampshade distracting or blocking the view of pictures and other items in the room. It seems to be a solid and well functioning lamp.
Review: Great Customer Service! - The first lamp I received had a shade that was not level. The Brightech company sent me an entire new assembly right away. Excellent customer service! My review: This lamp is sturdy and well made. Looks great. Easy to adjust. The base is heavy and the lamp stands up well. I really like the cantelever design. A good buy, worth the price.

**Q: Would this work for a digital piano?  Someone mentioned this was too short to use over a sofa, but would it be high enough to shine on  digital piano?**
A: I have to agree on it being too short. I was hoping it would be tall enough to look over my desk but unfortunately it’s not. I still had to prop it on a stool to reach the height I was after.  Hate to say it but but not the best purchase. Bit flimsy. 3 of 5 stars at best.

**Q: Can you change the light bulb on this lamp? i previously had a brightech and i was disappointed i couldn't change out the bulbs.**
A: Yes.  It uses a normal 60-100w bulb.

**Q: What is smart outlet?**
A: A smart outlet is not needed for this lamp.  It’s something sold separately that allows you to turn any of your electronics on and off remotely or on a timer.

**Q: What is the difference between the brightech ‘Dylan’ and the brightech Wyatt ??**
A: The main difference is the build/style of the lamp, the Wyatt is more of a pendant lamp, which means the shade hangs further away from the pole on a lever arm, while the Dylan is an upright pole lamp.

its a great lamp, easy to put together, sturdy, the lighting is perfect and style on point for the room that its in. I will say, make sure that when putting together you put it together tightly, the top of the lamp is heavy and it will cause its stand to bow out if not. Lesson learned and easy to fix. Two thumbs up, comes in different colors.
