Review: Powerful for the size - Originally I had two 12” ported subs in one box. This wouldn’t fit in the trunk of my new car so I went for this single 12” Pioneer. I knew it would be quieter than my old unit but wow it certainly kicks some bass with a decent 500w amp. It won’t give you super window shattering bass but it does make music sound a LOT better and you are certainly aware of its presence! Great value for money compared to its rivals of the same size and spec.

**Q: What is the actual dimensions of the box, assuming speaker rises 1/2-1” above?**
A: 13 3/4” long x 9 7/8” tall x 5 1/8” wide.  Hope that helps.

**Q: Is the amp built in or do i need get a amp? If so what amp do i need to get**
A: You will need to have an amp.  There is not one built into this one.  There are a lot of different audio companies with varying sizes and types of amps.  This is where you will need to do a little research to figure out what you need and want.  It can depend on what kind of vehicle you drive, how many speakers you have etc.  what you are looking to achieve from your car audio, everything.

**Q: Would this my 2018 tundra crew max?**
A: Yes it would it’s a great size and it sounds amazing

**Q: Can this be connected to a 4 ohm amp?**
A: Previous answer … terrible.
If you have an amp that is only 4 ohm stable (e.g. 2 channel amp, bridged mono), you would not want to wire a 2 ohm loaded sub enclosure to it.
