I’m only a few months in and still a beginner by any definition, but I have leaned enough to recognize the limitations of a cheap keyboard with no pedal capacity. I recently upgraded to the Casio PX-770 digital piano, and I am loving the upgrade. My old keyboard had piano stickers which I found really helpful as I am still learning to read music. I debated whether to get piano stickers for the new piano, but didn’t want to ruin its more professional look, so I opted for this removable guide that fits behind the keys instead. I was a little hesitant for two reasons: 1. Some reviews mentioned it not fitting their pianos; and 2. I was afraid it might be too tall and cut off part of the sheet music. Luckily, neither of those concerns came true. I can’t speak to other pianos, but it fits my Privia Px-770 perfectly. Also, although it does sit a little higher than the piano itself, I could easily see over it to the bottom of my sheet music (so maybe for really, really little kids, this might still be an issue?). At any rate, I’m surprised how much better I know the keys now thanks to the stickers I used before, but when i’m learning new songs and not sure where the notes are, this is a great tool. It’s also easily removable, which keeps the piano looking new and professional, and it’s by far the most affordable of these options I saw on Amazon.
