Review: This gate is the last one you'll buy - This gate is super sturdy, all metal. No pansy plastic latches or clips. It is super easy to install because the bar along the mounted side has a metal strip with two holes. No need for crazy measuring and readjusting like many of the other gates, it automatically fits and works the way it should. We use it as a toddler gate on our front door, to keep him from going on the porch sometimes. I chose it partly because it is all metal and partly because it locks when you swing it shut behind you. Not automatically, but this is what we wanted. Also, it swings both ways, so you can use it practically anywhere. It is slim in profile and looks neat and tidy. It is slightly more money than most baby gates, but it is WELL worth the extra money, you won't have to replace this one and you can use it for multiple kids to come. The only VERY minor downside is that when it closes, it is a little loud. But you can buffer the sound by latching it with your hand on the clip. I highly recommend this gate, we are very happy with it.
Review: VERY nice gate - Love this gate! We had to set it up at a slight diagonal, due to the way the hallway is built. It works perfectly fine. Love that it doesn't have the bottom bar on the floor that most gates have, and that it opens full-width. I have numerous gates in my house (small dogs). This gate is the nicest. Would definitely buy this again and would recommend it to others. Note: when first installed, the spring release works a little hard, but loosens up for ease of opening after a bit.

## Features

- GREAT FOR HIGH-TRAFFIC AREAS - Our baby gate has an auto-lock latch that allows rapid pass-through in either direction. Easily operated with one hand. Simply pull and twist the latch to open, and to close just swing the gate shut. The child safety gate is Juvenile Product Manufacturers Association (JPMA) certified.
- EASY TO INSTALL - Choose a wall-mounted dog gate for peace of mind and the Auto-Lock Safety Gate for the highest strength of installation. Our pet gate offers hassle-free installation. Install your pet and baby barrier with the included instructions.
- ADJUSTABLE SAFETY GATE - The gate is adjustable and fits openings 26.5 - 40.5 inches wide. The height is 29.5 inches and the bar spacing is 2.5 inches. For wider openings purchase a 10.5 inch extension (model BX1) or 21.75 inch extension (model BX2).
- VERSATILE DESIGN - Ideal for child and pet safety, supervision, and accident prevention. It's the perfect gate to secure stairs, doorways, hallways, bathrooms, kitchens, and more. The aluminum construction is lighter than steel and rustproof. The powder-coated finish makes it easy to clean.
- US BASED COMPANY - Cardinal Gates has been in business since 1993 and our operations are based outside of Atlanta GA. We are a small business that prides itself on the quality of both its products and its customer service. You can trust us with all your safety needs.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ VERY nice gate

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Awesome product - sturdy, safe, good-looking, easy/flexible installation
*by B***K on September 15, 2017*

Work great, look great! We have black metal railings in our house and these match perfectly. Mounted them at both the top and bottom of stairs, both wall-to-railing and railing-to-railing with the optional square clamps. If you have narrower railings, you may need to hit the local hardware store to get the right size screws. Other mounting hardware/accessories listed on the manufacturer's website, along with a flowsheet to guide you to what you need. The flexibility to have up to a 30 offset allows you to hit the stud, even if it's not directly across from the railing. See attached photos. The clamps are all unfinished wood. I spray-painted them with black semi-gloss and it looks great. Most importantly, they are sturdy, easy to operate one-handed, and our daughter doesn't have a prayer of getting out on her own. Would use the SS-30 Stairway Special Gate for top-of-stair locations, since the latch is even harder for a kid to open and still easy for an adult to do one-handed.
