I bought this product to hold the lamp shades I had just ordered. When the lamps came in they sat to high on the original stand, so I saw this product was adjustable. I thought it would be PERFECT for what I needed it to do. The product came in and I tried to place it on my lamp, but all the different ring wouldn’t fit. I have two old antique milk glass lamps so the rings that hold the stand to the lamp wouldn’t fit. I thought about returning the product since it wouldn’t work on my lamps. I ended up improvising and getting it to work. The product itself is very sturdy and works great, as long as it fits your style of lamp. I needed this product as I’m staging my home to be put up for sale.
