Fit is tight as expected. They will mold to hands under moisture and leather will relax and expand a bit after several rides. Having said that, dye used to on this leather stains badly and after few minutes my hands looked like I worked a shift in coal mine. Worst part is I will need to do serious fingernail brushing to get it off. Luckily I did not use them first time on way to work or it would have been a total disaster. I have a pair of finger less Riparo gloves, also black, and never had that issue. Full fingered Riparo are $50 here at Amazon, so almost twice the price of these but I suppose you get what you pay for. These are thin gloves, the smell like fresh leather, they fit relatively perfectly. I have big hands for my height, but the sizing called for medium.I do not believe they will require a break-in period seeing how they fit. I intend to use these are driving and commuter gloves for 3 out of 4 seasons.I will produce an update in the spring or summer to determine their reliability.Early update: these gloves will work on your smartphone for typing. Also, the leather is very soft.
