About 1000 times better than those squeaky spring hinge pivots, but also much more difficult to install.

**Q: Will this hold the door open on both sides at both 90 degree and 105degrees? I says it does. But I wished there was a video of how wide the door opens**
A: It just limits the door opening to 90 or 105 degrees. It comes with no instruction and I had trouble getting it to set to 90. If you are expecting it to hold open, don't.

**Q: Can this hinge be used on a height of 8feet and width of 5 feet door**
A: That width adds a lot of force.  I wouldn’t expect the soft close to work, but otherwise it should be fine.  
The door I built was about 40” x 110”.

**Q: does the hinge swing both ways (a double swing)?**
A: Yes.

**Q: how can I get a copy of the install instructions so i can see if this will work for me?**

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ VERY difficult install but worth it

Extremely challenging install. I knew that going in and so the install didn’t influence my rating. But let me tell you. It was a whole week of researching and planning the measurements, and then 3 full days actually installing. I’m not professional, just a DIYer with an engineering degree and a lot of time and energy for house work. But if you don’t own basic woodworking tools and have experience with woodworking, you’ll definitely need a contractor. That being said, here’s my rating breakdown: 5 for looks. It’s flush with the door and looks sleek. 3 for noise, it’s a little clunky sounding, but not the end of the world. 5 for functionality. Works exactly as described. Overall, really happy with the purchase and proud I was able to install it myself.
