I was using an old flat iron before I decided to purchase this wand, just because I extensions to blend more seamlessly and have a round/ barrel appearance, rather than a flat one. This wand does just that. It has little grooves in the metal teeth that you can customize how big you want your keratin glue to be. It does get very hot and does not have a temp control. Only on or off switch, so just be careful. I use a heat protectant glove when I’m using the wand, just to be on the safe side.
