I normally wear an 8 wide shoe, mainly because of my toes which had surgery. The 7-8 fit me fine, in the beginning. Not a lot of room in the length but the next larger size was way too long, I would have tripped over them all day long. By the time two days past, the slippers were stretched out and getting flat! The right slipper top has actually stretch more than the left slipper and you can now see the difference when looking at them. It is 3/8" higher and 1/4" wider. End result is that my right foot now slides forward and it has caused me to trip a couple of times. I don't know if I just got a bad pair or if they all do this. Also "memory" foam is now flattened to the shape of my foot. Not really soft anymore. I've only had about two weeks. They are snug and my feet don't slide all over the place. I take a size 6.5 in sneakers and shoes and for slippers I take a size 7-8 (M). My feet are not wide they are just average.
