I left it soaking overnight, then used fresh water to rinse it The Black Rit Dye had worked out great, so after a clean rinse, I out it thru a washing machine cycle using a cold water setting with appropriate laundry detergent. & since the Rit Dye is color safe, it laundered well. And a Casual Heat. Setting in the Dryer completed this project within 40 minutes.If I was able to get such good results at the age of 69, completely by myself...The same results should be within any person's abilities.
